Flood Damage to your commercial building feels like a catastrophe regardless of how much is actually present. Unfortunately, flood damage can happen at any time due to wear and tear on pipes and outside weather conditions. The number one priority is getting someone out there quickly in order to minimize the damage, and keep your business running.
At Margaaa Restoration, we understand that you have taken the necessary steps to keep your building well-maintained. However, sometimes water damage can happen despite your best efforts. Water can be incredibly devastating, saturating walls, insulation, floors and even furniture. Water migrates downward, so if a pipe breaks on the top floor, every floor below will be affected.
We work quickly to respond because studies show that the first 24-48 hours are essential in extracting any standing water. After that, the environment tends to breed mold and other hazardous microbes causing potentially hazardous conditions.
Margaaa Restoration provides fast and efficient flood damage services for your commercial building. We are a 24 hour a day, 7 days a week establishment. Our team of technicians are fully certified by the IICRC, and our company is licensed, bonded and insured. Once a call is placed, our guys will arrive as soon as possible, with the equipment needed to start the extraction process. We also keep in constant communication with your insurance company- handling the process from start to finish so you can focus on running your business.
Margaaa Restoration’s Restoration Process for Commercial Buildings
Arrival of technicians
Our IICRC certified technicians will arrive to your property with the proper equipment, tools and knowledge to ensure an accurate diagnosis.
Our technicians will then analyze the damage, and record the proper metrics to report to your insurance company. At this time, our technicians will identify the category of water and communicate with you their findings.
Create a drying plan
Next, our technicians will create a drying plan that will meet the needs of the affected area. Many times, there will be limiting factors, such as property hours, needs of the business or owner’s requirements that our technicians will need to consider when creating their plan of action.
After the drying plan is established, our technicians will begin the drying process which includes water extraction, placing of large dehumidifiers, desiccant technology, air movers or heat systems. The use of equipment will be determined during the analysis phase, and will change to meet the different requirements of the job.
Once the equipment is placed, daily reports are taken to show the drying progression in each of the affected areas. These reports are used to show the insurance company that drying is taking place, and help support and justify the drying plan that was initially created.
Damaged materials are replaced
At Margaaa Restoration, we certainly try to dry all of the damaged materials, but factors due to saturation levels or other damage could hinder us from effectively drying. In those situations, our company is licensed, bonded and insured to meet the needs of any renovation and repairs that need to be completed. At this point, proper documentation will be sent to your insurance company to ensure full communication.
Sign-off of work
Once work has been completed, we will conduct a final walk-through with the assigned on-site contact and our company. This ensures that all parties are aware of the completed work and are satisfied with the finished outcome.
